This presentation will examine the relationship between adult attachment styles and personal narratives of leaders. Attachment styles originate form early relationships between infants and caregivers. Recent research demonstrates how attachment styles in adults play a role in the identity and development of leadership. How one develops a personal narrative as a leader may change over time. My research focuses on how and why narratives/storytelling might change and how attachment styles may effect such changes.
