Tyler is a social justice advocate and loves Jesuit education and the Ignatian values that form it. He was raised in Southern California, and then moved to Spokane to attend college at Gonzaga University. While at GU he was a very impactful student leader, serving in various volunteer organizations, GSBA and CLP. During his senior year Tyler served as the GBSA student body president. Tyler earned a BA from Gonzaga University in Sociology, English and Women’s and Gender Studies. After graduating, he became a Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship Colleague and served in Loyola Marymount University’s Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education (PLACE) Corps program. While at LMU Tyler earned his Master of Arts in Secondary Education. Tyler currently lives in Spokane and serves as the Director of Service and Justice Education at Gonzaga Prep High School in Spokane.
